FD-258, FDLE & FBI Fingerprinting Services

Choose the fingerprinting method required by the organization receiving your prints. Our team helps you identify the right preparation before scheduling the mobile visit.

01 · Cards

FD-258 Fingerprint Cards

Physical fingerprint cards for out-of-state licensing, federal agencies, professional boards, immigration-related document requests and other destinations that accept fingerprint cards. Ask the receiving agency whether it requires FD-258, FD-1164 or its own approved form.

02 · Florida

FDLE Live Scan Fingerprinting

Electronic fingerprint capture used for many Florida Level 2 background screening and licensing processes. The correct requesting agency, ORI and any required Clearinghouse initiation determine where the fingerprints can be submitted.

03 · Federal

FBI Fingerprinting

Fingerprint capture for qualifying FBI Identity History Summary requests and other FBI-related processes. Card capture is not the same thing as completing or delivering an FBI background check; the submission route is confirmed before service.

Need an FBI background check for use abroad?

An FBI report may need a separate federal apostille, depending on the destination country and document requirement.

Healthcare in Aventura

Healthcare Fingerprinting — Mobile Visits for Medical Teams

Aventura has healthcare practices, clinics and care businesses that need a dependable fingerprint collection partner. We organize mobile fingerprinting around your workday while confirming each requesting agency’s requirements. This section separates the two major searches people use: AHCA Fingerprinting and DOH Fingerprinting.

Healthcare screening

AHCA Fingerprinting

For employer-initiated screening involving certain AHCA-regulated facilities, home health organizations and Medicaid providers. The Clearinghouse process may require an approved initiation, photo and compliant Live Scan workflow.

Professional licenses

DOH Fingerprinting

For certain Florida Department of Health professional licensing and renewal requirements. The profession-specific ORI, CHAI/Clearinghouse steps and photo requirements are checked before your mobile visit.

Employer / group booking

Healthcare Team Fingerprinting

Mobile appointment planning for medical offices, physician practices, home health agencies, assisted living facilities and other care teams. Contact us to organize sequential appointments for staff.

Why separate AHCA from DOH? AHCA and DOH serve different applicant situations. Some practitioners may have an individual DOH licensing obligation, while their employer also manages a facility-related screening. A mobile technician cannot replace the employer’s required Clearinghouse steps or decide eligibility.
AHCA · Healthcare facilities

AHCA Fingerprinting in Aventura

AHCA stands for Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. AHCA oversees background screening for personnel in certain regulated healthcare settings and Florida Medicaid participation. AHCA-related Level 2 screening involves more than collecting fingerprints: the correct initiated request, compliant capture, photograph and agency eligibility decision all matter.

Examples, not blanket rules

Who may need AHCA screening?

Roles can include personnel at AHCA-regulated health care facilities, qualifying employees of home health agencies, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and certain Medicaid providers. The employer or licensing application determines exactly who must be screened.

  • Home health agencies and home health aides
  • Assisted living / nursing care staff
  • Medical facility employees and administrators
  • Eligible Medicaid provider applicants
Preparation matters

What to prepare for a mobile AHCA appointment

The employer or approved provider generally initiates the Level 2 request through the Clearinghouse. You may need the generated Live Scan Request Form, a valid photo ID and the appropriate screening profile information. A photograph is part of compliant Clearinghouse screening.

  • Ask employer to initiate the request
  • Confirm request form, agency and identity
  • Confirm photo-capable mobile equipment and approved submission path
  • Keep the Transaction Control Number (TCN)
Mobile AHCA screening is conditional. Before confirming a visit, we verify that the specific AHCA/Clearinghouse mobile workflow can be completed with the available equipment, authorization and applicant request. We do not claim that fingerprint collection alone creates AHCA approval.
DOH · Medical licenses

DOH Fingerprinting in Aventura for Healthcare Licenses

DOH means the Florida Department of Health, including Medical Quality Assurance licensing. Our mobile intake starts with the exact profession and licensing or renewal requirement, then confirms the correct permitted fingerprint capture and submission method.

Nursing / board of nursing

Nurses and nursing applicants

Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) and other Board of Nursing applicants should follow their specific licensing instructions. Nursing and CNA applications can require different reasons for screening.

Medical / physician licensing

Doctors and medical professionals

Physicians (MD), osteopathic physicians (DO), physician assistants and other licensed practitioners may require DOH/MQA screening. Confirm current board instructions for each profession and status.

Additional healthcare licenses

Therapists and allied health

Dentistry, physical and occupational therapy, massage therapy, psychology, counseling, pharmacy and other regulated fields can have DOH fingerprint requirements depending on application type.

Important 2025–2026 change: Florida DOH expanded screening requirements effective July 1, 2025, with stated exemptions for certain professions and pathways. Applicants should check the current DOH page rather than assuming every healthcare job needs identical screening. DOH’s current guidance describes CHAI/Clearinghouse initiation, ORI, photo ID, photo capture and TCN.
Healthcare employers

Medicaid, Home Health & Senior Care Fingerprinting

Medical employment onboarding often involves different agencies and employment classifications. We separate Medicaid provider screening, home health workplace screening and senior-care staffing so managers and applicants can identify the right path.

Provider enrollment

Medicaid Provider Enrollment

Applicants may need a screening initiated after the enrollment application reaches the applicable AHCA step. An application tracking number or other agency-provided identifier may be required before proceeding.

Workforce onboarding

Home Health Agency Fingerprinting

Mobile services can support staff scheduling for home health agencies, nursing registries, eligible personal care workers and coordinators. The organization verifies which employees require screening.

Care settings

Assisted Living & Senior Care

Coordinated fingerprinting for eligible workers, administrators and contractors of assisted living and long-term care organizations, subject to employer screening instructions.

For healthcare managers: Ask about coordinated mobile team appointments rather than sending every new hire to a separate location. We confirm headcount, documentation, venue suitability and service availability before scheduling.
DBPR · Real estate

Real Estate Fingerprinting in Aventura

Whether you are applying for a sales associate, broker, appraiser or community association management license, fingerprinting is part of certain Florida licensure workflows. A mobile appointment is convenient only when the receiving authority allows that collection and submission route.

Sales associates

Real Estate Sales Associate

For applicants pursuing a Florida real estate sales associate license. Identify whether the current application instructions require Pearson VUE or another designated route before scheduling fingerprint collection.

Broker licensing

Real Estate Broker

For qualifying broker and broker-upgrade licensing applications. A prior fingerprint transaction may not satisfy a new application; confirm the board’s current rules.

Appraisal

Real Estate Appraiser

Appraiser licensing may involve separate DBPR fingerprint routing from sales associates and brokers. Confirm exact category and the current agency instructions.

Condo / property management

Community Association Manager

CAM license applicants work with DBPR requirements that differ from typical real estate sales licensing. Our intake keeps CAM as its own service category.

Workplace visits

Brokerage Group Appointments

Arrange mobile collection at a real estate brokerage or training facility when the applicable licensing authority and route permit it.

Critical check

Before You Book

Have your license type, application status and the latest official fingerprint instructions ready; not all real estate pathways accept any mobile vendor.

Agency-routing notice: DBPR publishes general Live Scan ORI information, but an updated real estate applicant FAQ also directs some applicants to Pearson VUE. We verify the specific application path first and do not promise that an independent mobile Live Scan satisfies every real estate license application.
DBPR · Contractors

Construction Fingerprinting in Aventura

Construction fingerprinting is often part of applying for or updating a Florida professional contractor license. We organize suitable mobile fingerprinting for individuals, firms and training programs, while confirming the exact DBPR board and license type.

Contractor licensing

General Contractors

Licensing applicants for construction businesses should confirm DBPR Construction Industry Licensing Board fingerprint instructions, whether it is an initial license, endorsement or other application.

Construction licenses

Residential & Building Contractors

Applicants for certified residential or building contractor credentials should identify their exact license category and applicable submission details before collection.

Specialty licensing

Electrical & Specialty Trades

Electrical and trade-specific license processes can have separate boards and fingerprint requirements. Do not assume one general construction ORI covers every specialty.

Business applications

Company Qualifiers and Officers

Owners, qualifying agents and other associated applicants may need screening depending on the license application. The board determines which individuals must provide fingerprints.

Home inspector licenses

Home Inspectors

Florida home inspectors are listed separately in DBPR fingerprint guidance, rather than under the general construction category.

Mold licensing

Mold Assessors & Remediators

Mold assessment and remediation licensing appears as another distinct DBPR fingerprint category.

ORI guidance: DBPR lists a construction-related ORI, but the applicant must confirm the currently required routing. The correct license application should determine the fingerprint submission, not a guessed category from a marketing page.
Property professionals

CAM, Home Inspector & Mold License Fingerprinting

These occupations are easy to overlook when a website has only one “real estate/construction” category. Each belongs to a distinct professional process, so mobile appointment requests are categorized separately.

CAM

Community Association Managers (CAM)

Property managers pursuing CAM licensure may have specific background screening obligations. Confirm the CAM credential and DBPR instructions before a mobile visit.

Property-related

Condominium and Timeshare Licensing

Some persons associated with condominiums, timeshares and other regulated property businesses appear in DBPR fingerprint categories. Requirements depend on the application.

Inspection

Home Inspectors

Fingerprinting for qualified home inspection license applicants, using the application-specific DBPR route.

Environmental services

Mold Assessment & Remediation

Fingerprints for applicable mold assessor or remediation license applications. Verify whether the company or individual applicant is the fingerprint subject.

Hospitality · ABT

Liquor License Fingerprinting in Aventura

Liquor license fingerprinting is a dedicated service topic for restaurants, bars, hotels, convenience stores and other qualifying businesses. Florida ABT rules are separate from ordinary real estate or contractor licensing. We offer mobile collection by arrangement when the application route permits it.

Florida DBPR / ABT

Alcoholic Beverage & Tobacco License Applicants

Some Florida liquor and tobacco license applications require fingerprinting for specified applicants, owners, partners, officers or other covered persons. Your application instructions determine who needs screening.

Hospitality businesses

Bars, Restaurants & Retail Operators

If your Aventura-area business is applying for a relevant alcohol or tobacco license, organize the required fingerprint appointment as part of the licensing checklist. Businesses should not assume all employees must be fingerprinted for a liquor license.

Which agency? Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) operates under DBPR. Official licensing guidance references ORI FL920150Z for applicable applicants; validate your current application instructions before booking.
DCF · Childcare

Daycare Fingerprinting & DCF Screening in Aventura

Daycare fingerprinting helps eligible childcare providers manage background screening for staff and other covered individuals. Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) has its own screening program for childcare, child placement, mental health and certain other settings.

Daycare personnel

Daycare and Childcare Staff

Florida child care screening can involve owners, operators, employees and persons with certain roles or access, depending on the program. The childcare provider generally coordinates the appropriate DCF screening.

Home-based childcare

Family Day Care Homes

Operators and other covered household members or staff may have different requirements from employees at large childcare centers. Confirm the program category before scheduling.

Camps and youth programs

Summer Camp Staff

DCF covers certain summer and recreation camp owners, workers and volunteers. Conditions vary; more than ten hours of volunteer service per month is a relevant DCF threshold for some programs.

Before mobile DCF screening: Ask your daycare/camp administrator for the correct Clearinghouse initiation and any OCA or agency paperwork. DCF may require other checks beyond fingerprints; our mobile fingerprinting visit is only one component.
DOE · Education

Teacher, School Staff & Education Fingerprinting

Educational fingerprinting can apply to teachers, certification applicants, administrative staff, contractors and eligible volunteers. For Aventura schools and education businesses, we can coordinate mobile collection only after checking the organization’s exact processing instructions.

School workforce

Teachers & School Employees

Florida public-school employees normally follow their school district’s fingerprinting process. A private-school or educator certification applicant may follow different instructions. Obtain approval for the provider route before arranging mobile collection.

Vendors / contractors

School Contractors and Vendors

Individuals working on school premises may need screening when their assignment triggers district or state requirements. The district or contracting institution controls the necessary process.

Education providers

Private Schools, Tutors & Coaches

A private school or educational business may request eligible fingerprint-based screening. The correct agency and whether Live Scan or another method is acceptable must be checked in advance.

Not every school uses the same ORI or booking path. Florida DOE instructs public-school employees to contact their school district. Mobile availability must be approved by the requesting organization and its screening workflow.
Volunteers · VECHS

Volunteer Fingerprinting in Aventura

Community organizations, charities, volunteer programs and nonprofit employers sometimes need background screening to protect the people they serve. We help arrange applicable mobile fingerprint capture after the organization confirms eligibility and the required agency pathway.

VECHS screening

Nonprofit & Community Volunteers

Florida VECHS provides access to qualifying state and national background screening for eligible organizations serving children, seniors and people with disabilities. The organization, not an individual applicant, determines participation and requests screening.

Program screening

Youth Program, School & Care Volunteers

Some volunteers fall under DCF, DOE or another specialized program instead of VECHS. Screening depends on activities, hours, placement and organization; no single volunteer process fits everyone.

About VECHS: FDLE explains that the Volunteer & Employee Criminal History System is intended for eligible organizations; it is not a general personal background-check product and does not replace another statute-mandated screening program.
Human services

APD, Elder Care & Behavioral Health Fingerprinting

Mobile fingerprinting may support group homes, disability care programs, senior-service agencies and behavioral health facilities. The sector is diverse: each regulator sets its own process and the employer must prepare any necessary Clearinghouse request.

Disability services

Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD)

APD requires participating service providers to initiate relevant Level 2 screenings through the Clearinghouse before an applicant is sent for compliant fingerprint capture. Applies to specified employees, contractors and other covered roles.

Senior services

Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA)

Certain programs serving older adults may require screening of covered staff, administrators, contractors or volunteers. Specific eligibility and agency procedures are determined by the provider program.

Behavioral care

Behavioral Health & Recovery Services

Certain DCF-regulated mental health, substance use and recovery settings have screening obligations, including specified workers and covered volunteers. Confirm the program and provider initiation.

Security · Federal

Security Guard & Private Investigator Fingerprinting

Aventura-area security companies and applicants may require fingerprinting for regulated Florida license applications. We assess the licensing board, file format and requested method before arranging mobile fingerprinting.

Security officers

Security Guard Licensing

Florida security officer applicants may need fingerprints through a process approved by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). Your specific Class D or related license instructions determine the acceptable provider.

Investigations

Private Investigation Licenses

Applicants for regulated private investigator or agency positions should follow the corresponding FDACS licensing background screening and fingerprint instructions.

Federal / specialist requests

Firearms / ATF Fingerprints

Some federal applications request FD-258 cards or specific .EFT data. A physical FD-258 service does not automatically mean that we produce ATF-compliant EFT files; request confirmation of format before booking.

Professional licensing

Mortgage, Insurance & Financial Licensing Fingerprinting

Licensing for mortgage, insurance and financial occupations often follows different state or national vendor systems. Mobile convenience should never replace the correct designated fingerprinting provider where one is required.

Mortgage licensing

Mortgage Loan Originators

Mortgage license applications often use federal NMLS-associated fingerprint instructions. Confirm whether the applicant needs an authorized NMLS collection provider rather than an ordinary FDLE ORI transaction.

Insurance licensing

Insurance Agents & Adjusters

Florida Department of Financial Services has its own fingerprinting vendor instructions and warns that submissions to other agencies are not automatically transferable.

Financial employers

Financial Services & Corporate Screening

Some finance and regulated-industry employers need fingerprint cards or approved screening for specific licenses. We first confirm the regulator and accepted collection format.

Important: A state Live Scan fingerprint capture cannot be assumed valid for FINRA, NMLS, insurance licensing or another regulator. We confirm which submission channel accepts the applicant's prints.

Additional Fingerprinting Services in Aventura

Not every fingerprint request is for healthcare or DBPR licensing. We also handle appropriate mobile fingerprint capture inquiries for other qualified employers and applicants, while checking each receiving authority’s exact requirements.

Motor vehicles

Auto Dealer / Motor Vehicle Licensing

Some auto dealers, driving school personnel and other regulated businesses receive fingerprinting instructions from Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV). Confirm their required agency route.

DJJ

Juvenile Justice & Youth Services

Covered Department of Juvenile Justice personnel and certain youth-program participants may require Level 2 screening. The authorized program determines the required initiation.

Retail licenses

Secondhand Dealers & Pawn Businesses

Certain secondhand dealer and pawnbroker license applications may have state screening obligations. Clarify whether the agency requires a specific electronic submission or card format.

Entertainment licensing

Talent Agents & Athlete Agents

Florida DBPR identifies talent and athlete agent applicants among certain licensure categories needing fingerprints. Confirm the current license category and instructions.

FD-258 cards

Out-of-State Professional Licensing

People working in Aventura may need fingerprint cards for a license issued by another state. We can collect an acceptable card format when authorized by the receiving agency.

FBI / international

International Document Requests

Some overseas work, visas or residency applications request an FBI Identity History Summary and sometimes a federal apostille. We explain the separate fingerprint, FBI report and apostille stages without substituting for agency approval.

Mobile first

Mobile Fingerprinting for Aventura Offices, Clinics & Teams

We bring the fingerprint collection appointment to an appropriate workplace, office, medical facility, residential setting or arranged business location. Group bookings are especially useful for employers onboarding multiple applicants. Mobile service must meet the relevant identity, photo, device and routing requirements.

For one applicant: Tell us your exact fingerprint form or issuing agency, your destination in Aventura and the timeframe you need. We confirm whether mobile collection is suitable.

For medical employers: Send us the number of staff, facility type, screening agency and whether the Clearinghouse requests are already initiated.

For training schools and licensing classes: Coordinate an approved on-site session, subject to the rules of the licensing body and the employer.

Questions answered

Aventura Fingerprinting FAQ

Answers to the questions people ask about mobile FD-258, FDLE, FBI, AHCA, DOH, employment and professional-license fingerprinting.

Do you provide mobile fingerprinting in Aventura?

Mobile appointments can be arranged in Aventura subject to technician availability, travel fees, approved collection location and requirements of the receiving agency. Book a mobile appointment online and confirm the exact service and travel arrangements before your visit.

What is the difference between FD-258 and FDLE Live Scan?

FD-258 is a standard fingerprint card format. FDLE Live Scan refers to eligible electronic fingerprint submission for Florida licensing or employment screening. The receiving agency decides which method is accepted.

Can you collect fingerprints for AHCA screening at our clinic?

Potentially, after the employer has initiated the required screening and we verify photo-capable, compliant mobile collection and the permitted Clearinghouse submission workflow. A clinic visit does not bypass AHCA requirements.

What do I need for DOH fingerprinting?

Check the current Department of Health instructions for your exact license. The DOH describes a Clearinghouse/CHAI workflow and requires agency-specific information, valid photo identification, compliant photo capture and a TCN for tracking.

Do real estate applicants need Pearson VUE?

Some DBPR real estate applicant instructions refer to Pearson VUE, while DBPR also lists general Live Scan details and ORIs. We verify the current instructions for your application before confirming that mobile collection is an accepted option.

Can construction contractors book mobile fingerprinting?

For eligible licensing and screening routes, mobile fingerprint collection can be arranged after reviewing the board, license type and required fingerprint submission method.

Can I get fingerprints for a liquor license?

Many applicable ABT license applicants have fingerprint requirements. Confirm who must be fingerprinted under your specific application. ABT guidance identifies a dedicated Florida ORI for relevant cases.

Can you fingerprint daycare staff and volunteers?

Mobile screening may be suitable when the daycare, summer camp, school or volunteer organization has initiated the appropriate agency workflow and confirms that this collection method is authorized. Different programs use different rules.

Is an FBI fingerprint card the same as an FBI background check?

No. Capturing fingerprints is a collection step. The FBI Identity History Summary request, processing, result delivery and any apostille are separate steps.

Do you offer FBI apostille services?

We can direct customers to a separate FBI apostille assistance service. Whether an apostille is required depends on the destination and the document. The FBI report must be obtained first, and federal apostille processing is separate.

Does every applicant need an ORI number?

No. Many Florida electronic agency submissions rely on an appropriate ORI or agency identifier. FD-258 card and some federal pathways may not use a Florida ORI. Bring your requesting agency instructions.

Are mobile appointments booked directly in Cal.com?
